Break Up With Binges
It feels like it's either all or nothing with food these days. You've tried every diet. You've tried not buying certain foods. You're wondering if maybe you're addicted to sugar or carbs. You're discouraged and feel this loss of control around food is ruining your health and maybe life.
Resonate with a few of the above statements?

Well, I've got news! Binge Eating Disorder (BED) is NOT about willpower. It's one of the most misunderstood and stigmatized eating disorders. And guess what? It's actually the most common eating disorder.

BED is a complex neurobiological disorder, just like other eating disorders. Genetics, environment, trauma, and many other factors influence who develops BED. It's often fueled by mental or physiological restriction, which is hard to figure out while living in a society filled with constant messages around food. Other times it's fueled by distressing emotions and seeking to numb or find comfort through food. And sometimes, it's all of the things plus the complexity of neurotransmitters and brain pathways that makes breaking out of the binge cycle feel impossible.

Together, we identify what is driving the binging and this informs our strategies to heal your relationship with food.
